For 47 years, the American GI Forum National Veterans Outreach Program (NVOP) has worked tirelessly to provide veterans, their families, and other needy populations with the services to achieve sustainable housing and meaningful careers.
Broken Warriors' Angels is a grassroots non-profit organization in San Antonio, Texas, that provides opportunities to the homeless, disabled, and our OTH (Other Than Honorable) men and women veterans. Homeless veterans and their families in our community go without proper food, shelter, and essential medical care every day due to a variety of factors including low wages, job loss, injuries, illness, PTSD, depression, and anxiety. These veterans make up the largest number of homeless we serve.

The Bexar County Military and Veterans Services Center (MVSC) is an advocate agency that provides professional and tailored services to the military and veteran communities throughout the Veteran Cycle. The Bexar County Military and Veterans Services Center takes appointments for benefits counseling and referral services.
Although it is not required, filing your DD 214 with the Bexar County Clerk’s Office provides permanent retention of the record. Doing so allows the County Clerk’s Office to provide a certified copy of your DD 214 should you need a replacement copy for your records in the future. An original, complete DD 214 must be provided for the filing and will be returned once the filing is completed. Many other services also available!
