Guest Speaker
We are honored to have Mrs. Gloria A. Martinez as today's guest speaker!
Gloria's dedication to service runs deep. Raised on the West and South sides of San Antonio, she joined the U.S. Navy Reserve in 2002 and proudly served with the Navy’s Special Warfare Group Two in Bahrain, later deploying in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom (2006-2007).
After her honorable discharge in 2011, she continued to serve, making history in 2022 as the first woman and person of color elected as the Bexar County District Clerk. Her journey from Navy deployments to civic leadership is a powerful testament to the impact our women veterans make.
