Helping Veterans,

                        one woman at a time

Our vision is to educate the public and our peers with the realization that 'Women Are Veteran Too'. Women Veterans are often forgotten and excluded from the general idea as to what is typically thought of as a Veteran. We have served our country in many capacities and deserve the same recognition as our male counterparts.

Mission Successes

  • Providing opportunities for over 450 women Veterans to network and connect to one another

  • Awarded a Certificate of Appreciation from the UTSA SVA

  • Provided over 400 homeless women Veterans with much needed hygiene items

The Women Veterans of San Antonio's mission is to serve, honor, and empower women Veterans from all eras and branches of service. We do this by networking, socializing, volunteering, and giving back to the Veteran community while bringing public awareness to the specific issues of women Veterans.

WVSA is a 501(c)(19) nonprofit Veteran organization.
